New animation on research by Alejandro Mata Cabana

26 May 2015

Alejandro Mata Cabana, a postdoc at ERIBA, studies the way proteins aggregate in cells. Such aggregates are an important factor in different age related brain diseases like Alzheimer’s. This animation based on his research, explains why the model organism C. elegans, a tiny worm, is a key element in understanding the processes that lead to neurodegenerative diseases in humans.
A fun and informative animated movie, made in collaboration with Studio MakeItAlive.
